Day Care Centre and Respite Care Facility in the heart of the Conservation Area in Southend

The Marigold Centre disability respite care centre in Southend has been designed to offer luxurious facilities and expert care to young adults with a variety of disabilities. We cater for students whose disabilities include those who require nursing or personal care, have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments. The four respite bedrooms are located on the first floor of the Marigold Centre, the ground floor being a state-of-the-art day care centre where the young disabled students can enjoy a range of activities; view the photo album for a glimpse of the wonderful facilities. Access to the first floor is either by lift, for those confined to a wheelchair for example, or by stairs, from the ground floor, which ensures the rooms are accessible for all.

The Southend respite care facility has four respite bedrooms, each room decorated in its' own theme and provides space and privacy for the guests. All the rooms have accessible en suite shower rooms with w.c.'s and a bedroom, three of the four rooms have ceiling track hoists for those guests that need a little extra help and staff are on hand 24 hours a day to provide necessary assistance and care.

Disability respite care can be booked along side day care, or as a stand alone arrangement, for periods as short as a single night, or for any longer period that you require.
